General terms and conditions course Mom & co
1. General
1.1 The general course conditions apply to the pregnancy courses of Mom & co.
1.2 The term ‘trainer’ refers to the midwife trainer employed by Mom & co.
1.3 ‘Course participant’ means the pregnant woman and her partner. Partner means the person who supports the pregnant woman during birth.
1.4 The Mom & co antenatal course is a pregnancy course to prepare for birth.
2. The pregnancy course
2.1 The course formats, course dates and times are listed on www.momenco.nl. These dates are subject to sufficient registrations. With insufficient registrations, less than 3 couples, the course dates will be moved. If this is the case, the student will be informed. The course participant can then also choose to follow the course at a different location.
2.2 If the student does not receive a message, the course will continue on the agreed dates.
3. Registration
3.1 Registration for the course takes place via the Momice booking system, on the website www.momenco.nl. For the online pregnancy course this is www.momenco-online.nl. This website is hosted by Maatos.
3.2 Registrations for group courses are processed in order of receipt and when a group is full, it can no longer be booked.
3.3 When a course group is full, the student may be placed on the reserve list for that group. If another group is appropriate for the student, she can register for that and if someone from the first group choice drops out, the student will be notified.
4. Correspondence
4.1 Correspondence is conducted via email. If e-mail address changes, please inform us as soon as possible by sending an e-mail to info@momenco.nl.
4.2 If a student cannot attend a class on the planned date, it cannot be made up in another group.
4.3 When a course participant cannot attend a class on the planned course date, they will receive course material in the form of the online pregnancy course. And an explanation of which topics they can follow at home. If desired, extra time can be scheduled after the next lesson with the midwife trainer to answer questions about this. The trainee cannot get a refund for not following the lessons.
4.4 When the course participant cannot be physically present, they will also receive the online pregnancy course with explanation of which topics they can follow at home. If desired, there can be contact afterwards by phone or zoom, or after the next lesson with the midwife trainer extra time can be scheduled to answer questions about this.
4.5 Newsletter and forms
There is a newsletter to inform the course member about topics relevant to them, and products and/or services of Mom & co. The e-mail address of the course member is added to the list. Each newsletter contains a link that allows the learner to unsubscribe from the newsletter.
If the student fills out a contact form or other forms on the website, or sends an e-mail, the data will be kept as long as the nature of the form or the content of your e-mail requires for a complete response and proper handling of the message or e-mail.
5. Liability
5.1 Mom & co, or the midwife trainer employed by Mom & co, is in no way liable for damage to and/or loss of personal property brought to the course by the student, or damage or injury incurred during or after attending the course.
5.2 Medical condition of the student. It is the student’s responsibility to assess whether participation in the course is possible. Mom & co is not responsible for any inconvenience or illness caused by the medical condition of the student. If the student is in doubt about this, they will contact Mom & co at info@momenco.nl and an appropriate solution will be sought.
7. Payment
7.1 After registration and payment through the web shop, the student will receive a confirmation of receipt. Registration obliges you to pay. When there is reimbursement can through info@momenco.nl an invoice / proof of participation for the insurance request, after completing the course.
7.2 If it is a problem for the student to pay the full amount in one time, he can contact info@momenco.nl to discuss possibilities of payment in stages.
7.3 A large number of health insurers will reimburse (part of) the costs of the course. The amount of this reimbursement may vary between health insurers. Most health insurers reimburse after the course has been completed. Ask your health insurer about the policy conditions. The responsibility for requesting reimbursement from the health insurance company lies with the course participant.
8. Cancellation by the student
8.1 Should the student not be able to attend the course for whatever reason, she should inform Mom & co immediately. For cancellations up to four weeks before the course starts, an administration fee of € 25 will be charged. This will be deducted from the course fee paid. The remaining amount will be returned. From four weeks to three weeks before the course starts, 50% of the course fee is due. After that the full course fee is due. Full refund of course fees can only be made if one of the exceptions below is the case:
9. Cancellation by Mom & co.
9.1 Mom & co reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course in the event of insufficient enrolments or force majeure. The course participant will, of course, be notified of this. Any course fees paid may, in this case, be refunded or kept in reserve for a subsequent course period.
9.2 Should a class not take place due to illness of the teacher or other force majeure, Mom & co will arrange for the class to take place at another time. Mom & co will at all times endeavour to offer the student the opportunity to follow the course at a different location, time or with a different teacher.
9.3 Should a student not be able to make up the course at another location, time or with another teacher, the student will be sent videos of the online course at home and can, if desired, be contacted about this afterwards by phone or zoom.
10. Confidentiality
10.1 The teacher will treat the information provided by the student as confidential.
11. Rates
11.1 The rates of the course can be found on the website www.momenco.nl. The responsibility for applying for reimbursement from the health insurance company lies with the student.
12. Complaints
12.1 A student may submit a complaint by email to Mom & co: info@momenco.nl.
12.2 A complaint will always be dealt with within 7 days.
